Volumetric Capture | Joe Mecca – Nova Media

VRE proposed a space to offer the public the experience of Volumetric Capture.

Joe Mecca, founder of Nova XR Media, came from New York to give the public a unique experience: the Volumetric Capture.

Volumetric Capture is a technique which captures moving images, people in motion and who move objects in a space of the real world. The techniques of “motion capture” are based on computer graphics, photogrammetry and other methods based on calculus.

The people who participated played some games available: ribbon, ball, hula-hoop... and in the meantime a camera captured the movements. The images were then developed and made available.

Each participant who tried this experience was given his own video, which can be watched on flat screens or though VR Headsets.
